importantly, Honors students need 450 pages (not 40). Regular classes 300 pgs.
Make sure there is a parent signature!!! Anything less is no credit. In
addition, if for some reason, you do not have the official log, you may create
your own, including the book title, pages read, and parent signature!

no one really cares but me, but i am going to document that i bowled a 195 last night!!! two big games two weeks in a row. that's unprecedented. for me.
the reason it's important to me is because i've always been the crappiest bowler on the team. the lead-off man...the inconsistent one...the not-really-serious-about-bowling one in a family of mostly scratch bowlers.

it's not a child, it's a cat!
my computer wouldn't even turn on til yesterday afternoon. when it did, there was a dsl outtage in my area. figures.
yesterday we went with my little sis to adopt a kitten. she picked out the sweetest little seal point siamese baby, but someone else had picked her on friday and they had until 5pm last night to come get her. so we had to wait until this morning to find out. oh, and they wanted to talk to her landlord to make sure she was allowed to have a cat. she told them she'd have to call them back with her landlord's number. she wanted to call him first and make sure it was okay.
this morning the pet adoption center called and said the kitty was still there for her if she wanted it, but they just needed to call her landlord. by noon, her landlord still hadn't returned her call, soooooooooo she gave them my cell phone number to call and allen pretended he was the landlord.
seriously, it took us about an hour to prepare for this. we were nervous. we didn't want to blow it. what questions would they ask? maybe we should change the voice mail message in case they call later. finally they called and we let the voice mail answer with allen's voice recorded on there using the landlord's name. then he waited and called back about 15 minutes later.

"this is miss soandso from the pet adoption center. is it okay if tracey has a cat at her apartment?"

my sister (the younger one) just called and asked me if i was there on monday night when she was talking about the little bump she felt under her armpit.
uh......NO, i wasn't there. i must have been up bowling when she was having this conversation with my other sister and my brother. FUCK!
so she went to the doctor today and he's sending her for a mammogram. a week from saturday. FUCK! how the hell are any of us going to sleep for the next week and a half.
please let it be a cyst or something like that.
