i gots a question.

how come some feeds that post to livejournal are just links to the new post on the feed site, while others post the actual content right on my lj page?  i prefer the whole entry post to my lj, because i'm less likely to click the link and read and then click back if i'm skimming reading lj in a hurry at work.

does that make sense?  is there a way to make the content post for each feed i follow or is that something controlled by the originating site?

duhneese: (that's what she said)
i know lots of you read dooce and the bloggess like i do, but one of my new favorite blogs is the wind in your vagina. seriously, it's not what you think.  the guy cracks me up.

i told you i was freak-ay.

i have this song stuck in my head. oh and the image of bret bumping in the conquistador costume.

owwww. ow ow ow.

ugh, it's just so sad about natasha richardson. she and liam neeson are those type of celebrities that stay out of the limelight and just live their lives. most people remember her as the mom in the remake of the parent trap, but i loved her in the handmaid's tale. she's so beautiful and classy, it's just hard to believe she's gone. i was really hoping she'd pull through.

duhneese: (NOT :))

this is what we see in the laundry room now.  i don't know about you, but i feel transported to a tropical island everytime i step in there...

with my dirty clothes.

because doesn't that flooring just scream white sandy beaches?

duhneese: (reading)
well, none of the books on my to-read list are available at the library yet, so i'm starting this one while i'm waiting.  i know i'll enjoy it because i generally like stephen king.  it's also perfect because it's short stories, so i can put it aside and come back to it later if i like it.

yeah, that's what i asked dee when i came back from lunch because while turning a page in my book, i tipped over a whole bowl of rice onto my lap.

rice everywhere.

you'll be happy to know she gave me the all clear.  gonna have to vacuum out the car tonight though.

the fires in australia are horrible and yes the loss of human life is tragic, but this picture just breaks my heart.
