sad day today for us fans.  scott kalitta, who drove the dhl funny car was killed in a bad crash at englishtown, nj during qualifying.



he leaves behind a wife and two kids.  yes, it's a dangerous sport, and they know what can happen, but it's still sad.  at least he went out doing what he loves.

rest in peace scott.

 

i acutally missed this last night. i fast forwarded right past it. today my boss asked me about it when we were talking about AI and i had to go look it up. holy crap it's pretty awesome, even if you're not a celine fan (which i'm not).

oops, my mistake.  it was a new show called brothers and sisters.  


anyway, it was very good, despite the obvious rip-off of sfu. i liked it.  and i liked six degrees too.  those are the only two new shows i've seen so far this season .  i'm looking forward to heroes tonight and ugly betty when it starts later this week.

also, i rented the first season of weeds. HOLY CRAP that is some funny shit.  totally enjoyed it. i highly (heh) recommend it.

i forgot to mention that allie's girls got 2nd place in their first competition this past saturday! it was a real blast watching my baby be in charge and all growed up and shit. :)



also, i'd like to thank gucch and bobomagicksock for keeping me completely entertained with this big love love/hate thread. lotsa "ewwws".
